Product Update Notification Subscriptions

Product Update Notification Subscriptions.

Would it be possible to intiate a subscription process to be notified when product updates are released?
I would like this tied into the applications that my organization has under maintenance contracts, so that when SolarWinds releases a hotfix, SP, or application update we are automatically notified.

Generally the only time I am aware that a fix, SP, or update is avaialble is when I log into SolarWinds or the forum site.

PS. If this service is already avaiable, how would I sign up.

The easiest way I do it is by subscribing to the SolarWinds Announcements. Only SolarWinds staff are allowed to post to that forum so any e-mail alerts you receive from that forum will occur a couple of times a month on average. There's even an RSS feed for that forum if you want to go that route. That means you don't even need to provide your e-mail address to receive product notifications.

The only drawback I can see is that the announcements forum is for all SolarWinds products but as I mentioned, with only a few posts a month on average, this is a minor inconvenience.

It's something we're looking into. In the meantime, qle has the best advice: Subscribe to SolarWinds Announcements. You'll learn about all releases, including service packs.
