Access Violation Error

Has anyone managed to connect to IpMonitor via an "dumb terminal", is this even possible? When I browser to our IPM server and and try to login at the login page, I get an Access Violation Error message with the following;

IPM believes that you are currently not authorised to perform this action. Most actions require a valid session, which can only be made via the login page.If you are currently loged in, you may have to log in with an account with sufficient privileges.

This message will likely appear if the page was accessed through a bookmark or favorite.

What kind of "dumb terminal" are you using? Is this a Citrix client?

Hi Chris,

am using a HP Compaq T5000.....when we turn the unit on, (connected to the network) logon to the unit using the local logon and access IPM via IE, I get that message. If I access IPM via a citrix connection to an published application (IE) I have no issues.

It appears that the configuration of the dumb terminal prevents IPM from storing the session cookie on the server. Do you have any other sites that require cookies? You might try those to see if you experience the same behavior. If not, then I would go ahead and open a support ticket.
