Map Editing: Icon alignment & Icon options

Hello,

I'm trying to get items aligned properly in the map, yet most of the time items, even identical items (Icon/label length), don't line up horizontally. It's as though the 'snap to grid' function is a bit daft. Does anyone know how to get around this?

Also, is there a way to add more device icons?

One thing i did was got Visio stencils and saved them as a giff. Then went into IP Monitors wwwroot and found all of the pictures. I copied a name of a picture i didn't use and renamed the visio stencil with that name, then pasted it into the wwwroot picture folder. Then they would show up in IPMonitors pictures. ex switchs, routers, servers etc. pretty cool.
