problem on trap alert

hi

i am curently running orion V8.5.0,and i have problem with alerting on trap viewer (or trap server)

logging to file + email + coloring the trap + discarding the trap + forwarding trap all working

but concerning execute an external program + execute an external VB script bot not working (process appear in windows task manager but nothing in application)

note all action work properly when i configure a basic/advanced alert from system manager

i'd be curious if any of those above mentioned threads help you out - because -

i've been testing my vbscripts too and i'm having the same issue. i'll be trying a few of those suggested threads and get back to this topic...

mich,

i almost gave up on this but i finally got my vbscripts working.

in all my vbs scripts i use the "/cmd /c" to use or call another external .exe.

all i had to do was relocate that .exe into the command path, in my case, c:\windows\system32 - and once i did that it started working...
