Seeing 220MB throughput from a 200MB interface (What's the problem)

You are looking at our throughput from a 200MB fiber gigaman connection between our Houston and Austin Texas Data Centers.  How could we be seeing more then 200MB through-put from a 200MB connection?  Our network team uses MRTG and they are not seeing anything more then what the circuit is.  We have already adjusted the 64 bit counter settings on these interfaces.
