Monitoring Event Logs in different domain

I have a sporadic problem monitoring Windows Event Logs on servers that are in a different domain from the ipMonitor 9 server.  I do have a local account configured on the ipMonitor server as well as an identical account on all servers in the other domain, however, periodically ipMonitor cannot reach a server and it displays "The RPC server is unavailable; oserror: 0x800706ba". Does anyone know how to solve this?  Thanks!
