This is really a question for Cisco regarding the CiscoWorks import process - rather than SolarWinds, but I'll attempt to help.
As you have seen, CiscoWorks provides only a limited import capability.I think the best option is to manually add a single device to Ciscoworks (with the logon information, snmp strings etc) and then perform an export (using the provided csv file option).
This file should then at least show you the required format for any Ciscoworks import (including the correct column headings.
You should then be able to source the required information (in the correct format) from the Solarwinds database with a few SQL queries.

Either Version 2 or Version 3 can be used
I have tried this solution as earlier suggested by another user, the version 2 works ok but I keep getting error messages with version 3; I think I will settle for version 2.
