Passthru Login

Is there any way of including a login in the url to automatically login to IPMonitor?

We are looking at putting a link on our Orion site and allow using read access and would prefer if it could all be done automatically rather than having the user login.

I would also be interested in this, as recently it was posted you can include a custom HTML resource on the Orion homepage that can display a webpage.

I would love to have the IP Monitor Dashboard displayed on the Orion homepage, however I would need to pass login credentials via the http request header to do this automagically.

Anyone else looking into this?

Here's what I did at my location

http://<orion_location>/Orion/NetPerfMon/NodeDetails.aspx?netobject=N:<netobjectid>&view=NodeDetails&AccountID=Guest

To view a specific node. I guess you could vary the parameters as you would see fit. Please note abstractions placed in URL.

Not quite what I'm looking for. I would like to display the IP Monitor Dashboard within an Orion resource, however IP Monitor does not support guest accounts, nor can I figure a way to pass credentials via the URL to allow it to log in and display the dashboard. :-(

Hello euphorik,

At this time there is no way to view the ipMonitor dashboard without providing login information. The only way to automatically provide this information is via SOAP calls. See following page:

We also have an application which can perform these calls for you and build an ASPX page that you can host within IIS. This application is called the ipMonitor Multi-Status View and is available here:
