Hotfix 3 corrects an issue in which receipt of unsupported
NetFlow packets could cause the service to unexpectedly exit.

This hotfix requires NTA version 2.0.

To install this hotfix, complete the following procedure:

      1. Stop your SolarWinds NetFlow Traffic Analyzer service by clicking
Start > All Programs > SolarWinds Orion Network Performance Monitor >
Advanced Features > Shutdown NetPerfMon. Then, click
SolarWinds NetFlow Traffic Analyzer on the
Shutdown/Restart Network Performance Monitor window and click Stop.

      2. Navigate to your NetFlowTrafficAnalysis directory. By default, this is
      C:\Program Files\SolarWinds\Orion\NetFlowTrafficAnalysis.

      3. Rename your SolarWinds.Orion.NetFlow.dll file SolarWinds.Orion.NetFlow.dllOld.

      4. Place the SolarWinds.Orion.NetFlow.dll included in this hotfix zip file in the installation directory C:\Program Files\SolarWinds\Orion\NetFlowTrafficAnalysis.

      5. Restart you SolarWinds NetFlow Traffic Analyzer service by selecting it
in the Shutdown/Restart Network Performance Monitor utility from step 1
by clicking SolarWinds Alerting Engine service, and then clicking Start.
