Screen layout for Domain Controllers and Hypervisors

Good day everyone,

I have been asked to refine some of the monitoring windows we use on our network, specifically domain controllers and Hyper visors.  I feel the out of box view for hypervisors are fine, but need to generate a specific one for our domain controllers since we have 24 of them across our district.  Looking for advice and suggestions.

Thanks in Advance ,

Jay Myers

how do you feel about the view provided for those domain controllers that are monitored via AppInsight for Active Directory?

  • I like it, I am just pushing against the license ceiling.  When I took over as monitoring engineer, I completely rebuilt and redesigned how our Solarwinds monitors the network.  My systems analysts requested and better "dedicated " view for the DC's

Ah I see, so if you had greater control over what is enabled, you'd be able to use the IIS AppInsight defaults then?

  • correct
