Hi all,
Got an odd one...
When creating a link within a ticket using the link button, or copy and pasting a created weblink, this works perfectly. User can click on the link and this goes to wherever is needed. If the send button is clicked next to the note this sends the link to to user/cc'd users etc. We have been using this since day 1 and never had any problems.
Until yesterday.
A weblink was created for a user to give to a 3rd party the file was along the lines of https://www.yourwebsite/file/file-1432a5nhlu.zip this displays correctly when copied and pasted into the web helpdesk ticket and when you hover over the link this also looks correct. User can click on the link and it all works perfectly. When the tech clicks the send button and the HTML email is sent to the use user and they highlight the text and copy and paste this into an email and send it to the 3rd party who reports the link does not work. We notice the hyperlink label in the email sent from the helpdesk now has a space between the - and the 1 and reads as follows https://www.yourwebsite/file/file- 1432a5nhlu.zip
Users copy and paste these links and send them to 3rd parties, we have never had a hypen in a file before until yesterday.
Simple work around is remove the Hypen I understand that, but is there any reason that the extra space is being created in the hyperlink label?
Hope this makes sense.
Thanks
Rob
