CScript Error: Can't find script engine "python" for script

Hello,

I recently upgraded Orion platform from 2018.2 to 2019.2 where i am facing an issue with running a python script which was working fine before.

facing an error " CScript Error: Can't find script engine "python" for script "

Previously my OS version was "Server 2012 R2" and now i have "Server 2016".

I installed the python and it's windows extension of same versions.

Python is installed perfectly and i can see the python version by power shell and CMD.

The script is also giving the same error when i run it directly on powershell.

Can anybody please help me to sort this issue. Thanks

Looks like some others have seen a similar issue in the past... Not %100 sure that is the same problem you are seeing but it might be worth taking a look.

Update: Community!
I cleaned my windows registry and reinstalled the python with version 2.7.16 (32bit) with it's windows extension.
Now the script is working with cscript (64bit) instead of cscript (32bit) which is very strange for me.
I am still trying to find out that why cscript (32bit) is unable to find out python engine.
