Solar-PuTTY GUI footer blocking the output

Although this is a free software. I expected that someone would have given an answer...

Can you please confirm you use last version of Solar Putty + plus can you specify display resolution used so we will try to replicate it? Thanks.

yesterday we released a new version of Solar-PuTTY (v4). The new version contains updated putty library (0.72) and a lot of bug fixes. Please try it out and let us know.

richard.john​ still giving that same issue. The scroll bar is not showing up on new sessions, you have to resize the window every single time for it to show up

ivodlouhy​ I'm using the latest version (v4) but still the same issue. Resolution is 1920x1080 and i'm using only the laptop screen (no second monitor).

Ykaly, thank you for the feedback. So at least there is a workaround for you (Solar-PuTTY window resize).

What is your Windows scale setting? You can find that setting under Settings->Display->Scale and layout. If you change the scale to 100 % and reboot the laptop will that help?

richard.john​ ok that works, but i don't want it to be at 100%, icons are too small, everything is small. Is there some kind of tweaks that can be done for this to work as expected at 125% scale?

Just let us pay for this **bleep** software and get rid of that **bleep** bar.

I might've found a solution:

Launch Solar-PuTTy > Menu (3-dots) > Settings > General > Launch PuTTy > Category (Left Pane) > Window > Appearance > (Right Pane) Adjust the window border: Set Gap between text to window edge to something larger than 100.

I have 2736 x 1824 screen resolution with 200% scaling.

EDIT: Remember to save your settings to the Default profile.
