I've never worked with an Aironet device, but one thing that could be wrong is the tftp part of your statement.
Yours (you don't need the full path to the tar file)
ap#archive download-sw /overwrite tftp://10.10.10.8/c:/TFTP-Root/c1200-k9w7-tar.123-8.JA.tar
ap#archive download-sw /overwrite tftp://10.10.10.8/c1200-k9w7-tar.123-8.JA.tar
Thanks guys, I will try this out when I get back to the office.
Check the TFTP server, assuming you are running the SolarWinds application
ensure that it is set to transmit data.
Also transfers are relative to the TFTP-root so yor command should be
archive download-sw /overwrite tftp://10.10.10.8/c1200-k9w7-tar.128-8.JA.tar
You should see the connection arrempt in the TFTP Server log.
P.S. the lastest software is 12.3.8-JA2
