I have a Cisco 1841 router that is primary used for NAT between my network and a customer network. I monitor several devices on the customer network (using SNMP & PING). EVERY time I run the SolarWinds VBS script (Config downloader) it causes problems for my 1841 router.
Approximately 3 hours after the automated VBS script runs, hosts on the customer's network stop responding to PING and SNMP queries. It basically looks like NAT stops working on the router. If the router is reloaded, everything returns to normal. A check of the CPU & memory (before the reload) shows no ill signs.
