When I use Dameware RS for a particular computer, and look at the Event log, I can no longer see Application Error events properly.
It has started to show the message "The description for Event ID ( 1000 ) in Source ( Application Error ) could not be found.".
I believe this is a Dameware issue because if I log on to that pc and view the Windows event log directly, the message is not shown.
The message is not shown for the other pcs I have checked.
I have restarted my support pc, the pc being remoted to, and also removed and re-added the remote machine under Favorite Machines. But the message is still there.
DRS version: 22.214.171.124
Not sure what could it be, but you can try to uninstall the Dameware driver from the remote computer, maybe there is something wrong with it.
