I just upgraded to NPM 9.5 only to find out that they have reintroduced a problem that existed in one of their past versions. When you load up a view with a map it now displays a clock like image that rotates while it is loading the map data. That's ok but every time the map refreshes itself my old map goes away and you get to stare at the clock while it downloads a updated graphic. I realize you can change the refresh rate to something else but why erase the existing view while you are downloading the new copy? Just leave the original image there until you are ready to replace it.... I remember this being an issue in a previous version and it was quickly removed after people complained.
Am I the only one who finds this annoying?
