Best Practices for SysAdmin vs Network Admin based on supported platform

We would like to understand the best practice for system notifications based on ownership and devices supported.  We would like network device failures and network degradation alerts go to Network team.  We would like server device failures and degradations to go to the SysAdmin Team.  What is the best practice for this scenario?  Thanks

I use Custom Properties to define who gets alerts for various faults from Up/Down to Performance based alerts. It basically creates a unique distribution email list for each Node. This can be replicated across Applications, Interfaces, Volumes, etc.. Once you have defined the CP field and email/s, you want to reference that field in the Alert Email To: structure using an inserted variable that represents that data. You can then use the simulate function within the Alert Actions to select different Nodes and see that the CP is populating the To: field correctly.
