Do you have a TFTP ACL on your router?
What is the IP you are connecting to TFTP the config?
We set the TFTP source interface on our routers to the Loopback address.
A HA ! More information.
No ACL limititations for TFTP
We upgraded to EE Toolset 8 last week, and now it seems that I can't use any of the cisco tools on our production routers. I'm wondering if the old scripts no longer work with the new toolsets
The only router I can use with the Cisco tools is one of our 1841. We have at least 2 of that model, but only one is "working" both are running the same IOS - 12.3(8r)T8
The tools do work on all of our switches.
D' OH !
It turns out to be a issue regarding mapping the serial and ethernet addresses
once the missing routes were added all was well with the toolset AND the VBS script
We're feeling pretty silly right now
How did you resolve this?
As I mentioned, it is best to use loopback addresses to manage a router.
It sounds like Doug did not have the routes for the Serial interfaces advertised into his network. The TFTP source address will be whatever interface the packet leaves to get to the TFTP server, unless you specify the source IP address to use in the router config.
What VBScripts are you using?
