why is NPM so sloooooow ?

I have a small network with CISCO 3000 switches and I am using SQL2016 for the backend for NPM & NCM. everything is on a 1GB switched network. any ideas?

Are you meeting the minimun requeriments for Orion Server?

Agree with gerardolan64. Have you checked reference guides, admin guides to provision your system properly? It's hard to suggest and give advice without knowing the details of your setup. However, I would recommend taking into account forecast growth you may have and build a system that could handle any future growth. However, you can't go wrong with basing yourself on reference documents available to you. They could help you locate the weak points that need strengthening .
