Large Network IP Management
Jul 1, 2004 4:34 PM
Our network currently uses over 700 subnets across 140 sites with about 7500 nodes.
We have SolarWinds professional addition, and I am trying to identify the best tool in the toolkit for using to perform IP address discovery and ongoing monitoring.
I like the concept of the IP Address management tool, but performance is pretty poor with 700+ Subnets, each one listed individually.
Are we able to automate IP Address management through a command line interface at all?
Or should I be looking at a different tool such as Network Sonar?

I think you can import your network sonar discovery into your IP address management.....?
