Custom threshold for Universal Device Poller

I have a poller that tracks the temperature of UPS units. The temperature of some of the units run around 100. In other locations, they can run around 70. I would like to set a different threshold for the different devices. Maybe with a custom property?

BTW… I am a bit of a dreaded newbie. But getting up to speed.

Correct that there is no built in function for individual thresholds on UNDP objects, but you could accomplish what you need with a node custom property, just create something like 'TempThreshold' and…

Correct that there is no built in function for individual thresholds on UNDP objects, but you could accomplish what you need with a node custom property, just create something like 'TempThreshold' and set your alert logic to trigger when custom poller with uniquename like 'yourtempundp' and statistic >= Tempthreshold

Works once you select a "Double value comparation" as "actual trigger condition".
