Cutting down false alert when main router goes down,getting false alert for connected all devices to the main router.

Hi All,

I am curious to know like if the node is down then why we are not getting the message like Node status is now why frequently generating the alert as abcd.com has stopped responding (Request timeout). there should be Node status down.

Node status.

SNOW alert details- Not triggered alert as SNOW ticket, while its already configured.

This is the default event which gets logged... U need to configure alert for node down then you will be able to see the description u mention as part of the alert.

Hi Pratik, Thak you for the response. Actually, I have already configured the alert but the point was if the node (switch) is completely down (power outage). abcd.com has stopped responding (Request timeout). an event shouldn't generate but its frequently generating every 5 minutes.

it could be an issue with the device having packet loss, u might want to check that..
and also paste the trigger condition here if possible..it will be easier to understand...

Hi Team,
Do you have any update? I am still getting the dependencies alert like if R1 goes down we get alert for sw1,sw2,sw3,sw4...etc.

2 things i would like you to share if possible..
a. trigger action screenshot.
b. if u have created dependencies then please share that as well.. coz if the dependencies are created and still u are getting alert then there is other problem..
