Hi everyone.
I am trying to setup a HTTPS monitor for an internal website. The problem is even with the instructions linked below I cannot create an HTTPS monitor. The 'select componet' option leads me to nowhere. Any ideas?

See a screen shot of any errors if you are seeing them. The article you found is a good reference I am curious to what you mean by leading you anywhere. The basic idea is you attach a template with the https monitor and configure it to look at the exact URL you want rather than just ${IP} and ${PORT} IE https://127.0.0.1:443. You would put https://myinternalwebsite.com/(anyotherextentsionshere):443 or your port. The template is applied to to any node or IPs/ Dynamic IPs of the node if it changes in the node detail configuration. Let me know if this make sense I can produce screen shots of what I mean.
The link you referenced is for creating an alert, but your first step is to create an Application Template that includes an HTTPS Component Monitor.
