I just upgraded some of our stuff, and discovered they changed the damn database AGAIN with NTA.. wtf solarwinds?! Make up your damn minds.
So this provides me some of the info I was looking for.. The ip address can be found by hovering over the little colored dot.
The only odd issue i have is one of my nodes is showing up twice for two different days.
How do i not show ones that are up? I don't care if they are up. I only want the ones that are currently down.
Change the line that says
- where (n.status = 2 or t2.nodeid isnotnull)
- where (n.status = 2)
You could also just get the ip to show without hovering by changing the first line from
- select n.caption as [Device]
- select n.caption as [Device], n.IP_address
Excellent!!! THanks Very MUCH!!!
So as a noob in regards to this kind of coding, where could I go to learn more and become a coding guru like yourself?

This is where I started:
Took what i saw in examples on thwack and elsewhere, looked up syntax references there and just general googling, and after a few years here you are.
