What is the difference between SWIS module SwisPowerShell and PowerOrion?

I'm reading through documentation on GitHub and and Thwack about the Solarwinds SDK. On GitHub there are multple references to the module "PowerOrion" and in other enties on GitHub there are references to module "SwisPowerShell". What's the difference? DId one supercede the other or do they provide different capabilities?

SwisPowerShell provides powershell cmdlets for the fundamental operations: connect, query, invoke, create, update, delete. PowerOrion provides higher-level operations like "New-OrionNode" and "Get-HostNameFromIPAddress". PowerOrion uses SwisPowerShell internally.
