This is an updated version of the "Resource to display reason for outage" resource uploaded by sotherls. That resource was written in ASP, so it won't work in Orion 9.5 and later (Orion only supports ASP.NET resources now). You can just put this file in C:\inetpub\SolarWinds\Orion\NetPerfMon\Resources\NodeSummary. This path might need to be adjusted if your website is not installed in C:\Inetpub\SolarWinds. Then customize your view, and add it. It will be in the "Node Lists" group listed as "Current Down Devices and Status".
This version of the resource uses the Department and Comments custom properties, since Orion installs those by default. If you want to display different custom properties, you can edit the .ascx file.
