How do I "update" Orion.Credential for WMI? (Right now there is only "create")

Unfortunately, updates to Orion.Credential are not supported. I have added your request to the internal issue.

Is there any kind of guess as to a timeline when this will be enabled (weeks, months, quarters, years) ? I would imagine an update couldn't be too far away from a create in terms of programming.

It's not in the current release candidate, so it won't be "weeks". Beyond that I'm not at liberty to talk timelines.

If there is some tracking mechanism for me to get an email when that feature becomes available I would be most appreciative. Thanks for giving me a rough idea to not plan for anything in the near future.

The internal bug is CORE-5972. (You can call support and ask them about it, but they won't keep the ticket open for a feature request.) The bug has links to this thread and others that have requested this. When the implementation ships, I'll go back and update those threads.

This API exists now in Orion Platform 2018.4/NPM 12.4. It is documented at Credential Management · solarwinds/OrionSDK Wiki · GitHub .
