.NET 4.6.2 Framework Breaks my CAC Card Auto Login into the Web Console

Current Specs are:

NPM 12.1

4.5.2 .NET framework

Issue:

I use a CAC card to login to my machine and when I go to my web console site, I am automatically taken to my homepage.  As soon as I upgrade my .NET framework to 4.6.2, my web console takes me to a login page asking for username and password.  What do I need to do to have everything the same but the only difference is having a .NET framework 4.6.2 instead of 4.5.2?  It sounds simple but there is more to this story which I don't think needs to be mentioned right now.  Can anyone assist with this?
