    Outside monitoring w/ solarwinds

My employer currently has an unlimited license for IPAM and NDT, we are looking at adding NCM.  Recently they have requested that we add some sort of enterprise outside monitoring of our internet connectivity.  Currently we have provider fail over between two providers that ultimately use the same backbone.  This could lead to a complete loss of connectivity.  If this happens I would not receive notice from Solar winds as it does not have an outside path.

My question,  is it possible under that existing unlimited license to run a secondary server on say Amazon, or some other external server to track our network connectivity externally, and notify if there is an outage.

      Any input appreciated.
