I have strong feelings about how trap and syslog are handled in most environments. Because many devices don't allow you to filter at the source; and because even if you COULD it would mean managing all 120 AP's rather than a single point of control, I always recommend creating a scalable "trap and syslog filtration" system that collects all messages and then either drops them or transparently (meaning "keeps the origin IP") forwards to the system that needs it.
