SQL Blocks monitoring

Hi All,

I have come across a request to generate an alert when a record or row in a datbase table gets locked by a user and others not able to do anything on that particular record.

Is there a facility to do this in Solarwinds to generate an alert. We do have SAM 6.3 and DPA 10.2. To get this monitored, do we need to have DPA as well? Please advise.
