When our F5 fails over, the out of the box alerts for "F5 Alert me when virtual server is not up", "F5 Alert me when server is not up" and "F5 Alert me when virtual IP address is not Up" flood us. This is what I think would fix this for us: Delay the "F5 Alert me when virtual server is not up" until the "F5 Failover Event" has been active for at least 10 minutes. Delay the "F5 Alert me when server is not up" until the "F5 Failover Event" has been active for at least 10 minutes. Don't fire the "F5 Alert me when virtual IP address is not Up" if the "F5 Alert me when virtual server is not up" is active. Is there a way to do this?

F5 Alerts - Modify to Include Dependencies?

When our F5 fails over, the out of the box alerts for "F5 Alert me when virtual server is not up", "F5 Alert me when server is not up" and "F5 Alert me when virtual IP address is not Up" flood us.

This is what I think would fix this for us:

Delay the "F5 Alert me when virtual server is not up" until the "F5 Failover Event" has been active for at least 10 minutes.

Don't fire the "F5 Alert me when virtual IP address is not Up" if the "F5 Alert me when virtual server is not up" is active.

Yes, duplicate and edit the existing alert. Under trigger condition, tick the box 'condition must exist for' , the default is ten minutes.

Thank-you, but unfortunately, that option is not available on the modified "F5 Alert me when server is not up", or any of the modified F5 alerts where I had tried this trick previously. That options will appear very briefly then disappears, so I assume there is something in these alerts that negates that option from appearing.

I see, it was the trigger condition that I had that was preventing the "Condition must exist for mroe than x minutes" from appearing. Thanks.
