FTP Voyager: How to accept an unknown host key

When I connect to a particular SFTP server with Filezilla, it informs me that the host key is known and do I want to accept trust the host (and store the key in the cache) and connect anyway? I accept and connect via SSH2 on port 22 successfully. Great.

With FTP Voyager using the same exact connection settings and credentials, I only get this:

STATUS> Negotiating SSH2 session with server...

STATUS> Client Identification: SSH-2.0-FTP Voyager_16.2.0.328

STATUS> Server Identification: SSH-2.0-OpenSSH_7.4

STATUS> Initializing key exchange process...

ERROR> The server has unexpectedly closed the connection.

What am I missing?
