At my place of employment, our network engineers will have equipment installed before customer interfaces are connected. The problem we have is that we will discover the node with solarwinds and all of the interfaces are admin up, oper down, until the customer connection is established. I'd like a way to automatically disable alerts from these interfaces until a connection is established. Is there a way to do this already? Maybe a SQL query I can run to ignore down interfaces with 0% availability?
