I know that there is a lot of post on this topic, and seems like the actual way to do this has changed with the newer versions.
I think i have tried all of them though,
I see the "User Grapics" folder under the "select grapic image" window but there are no icons to choose from. see attached image (Fejl.png)
I can see that the icons i have placed under "C:\Users\%User%\AppData\Roaming\SolarWinds\NetworkAtlas\Maps\Orion\localhost\NetObjects\User Graphics" are being syncronized as they should cause when i delete them they come back 
I have added files for up, down, warning, unmanaged and more, both with filename-up.gif and filenameup.gif as you can see in the attached picture (filer.png) and even a vmf file to but still nogo 
Any here that can tell me what i am doing wrong here?

, other than the newest documentation says that the "-" has to be removed
