Is it possible to create an alert to trigger when the number of remote mounts changes on a Linux server?

I have a customer that has several Linux servers, and they have either one or two remotely mounted drives. This info is in the MIB under 1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.8.3, how can I create an alert to trigger when the number of mounts changes, specifically after a reload? Thanks!
