So far i did not see any option to search trap using TrapID in TrapViewer. Is there any way to see only a specific trap based on TrapID?
Hi
I believe you are referring to the Trap OID (Object Identifier), which when you create a new filter in the SNMP Trap Viewer application is the default method for creating the filter mechanism.
On the trap filter tab, the single entry there will have a TrapOID is equal to ... Click on the three dots to bring up the SNMP MIB tree from where you can select your TrapOID value to be used as the filter match.
Apologies, I misread your post.
No, there is no option to perform a Trap OID search in the viewer or web page.
However, it is possible for you to create a search function using the Custom Query resource, as this provides a second field option for creating the search criteria definition.
You will need to create the SWQL query (I would help here, but I am on the train) that lists the data you wish to see from the Trap tables and use the search option to accept the WHERE clause filter for the OID input. This may not be ideal as you need to know the OID, or at least part of it in order for the search to be effective, but this may be acceptable to you.
