    NCM Node Importer Error

    jumathieu

      Hi there,

      1st timer. I'm a network admin @Accorhotels, we're having a trial for NCM here.

      NCM (Orion) version: SOLARWINDS.CIRRUS.IS.CLIENT.DLL 7.6.0.1375

We want to supervise, backup the configuration and have the asset management of some of our devices (switches in the hotels). I've been trying to import some nodes using the Solarwinds NCM Node Importe file, but it's not working.

This is a sample of the CSV i'm using :

      IPaddress,SNMPLevel,NodeCaption,NodeGroup,ReverseDNS,Community,CommunityReadWrite,SysName,SysDescr,SysContact,Syslocation,SystemOID,Vendor,VendoIcon,MachineType,OSImage,OSVersion,NodeComments,UseUserDeviceCredentials,Username,Password,EnableLevel,EnablePassword,DeviceTemplate,ExecProtocol,CommandProtocol,TransferProtocol

      10.20.173.196,2,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,admin,[...],,,,2,2,2

The error I get is the following one :

My device are configured with SNMPv2 so I'm not sure what the problem is. If anyone could help me that would be great, because I'm not able to find many resources about this!

      Thanks,

      Jules
