Hello Forum,
I could use some help trying to figure out why my SAM/Orion v6.3 SQL DB is producing 30GB per day of TLOGs, constantly filling up the volume and crashing.
How do I determine what these transactions are?

Hello,
The easiest way for me would be to use SAM to monitor itself. You can use "AppInsight for SQL", which is available in SAM templates.
Once you add SolarWinds instance, you will have very detailed statistics for SQL and (very important) you will have delays for queries.
Here is an example: http://oriondemo.solarwinds.com/Orion/APM/SqlBlackBox/SqlBlackBoxApplicationDetails.aspx?NetObject=ABSA:266
You can also evaluate option to install Trial version of DPA module and check the queries in more details.
I am also curious, how many network elements and applications you are monitoring? Such behaviour should not happen in normal scenario.
Maybe some optimisation in configuration would help
Kind regards,
Marcin Kazmierczak.
