Plan Hash value in Plan text tab

I am trying to relate the 'Plan Hash' value shown in the 'Plan Text' tab to the SQL DMV's sys.dm_exec_query_stats.query_plan_hash or sys.dm_exec_query_stats.query_hash and they are not matching.

First, what does the 'Plan Hash' value stand for in the 'Plan Text' tab?  Is it internal to DPA only?

Second, is there a way to tie this 'plan hash' value in DPA to a plan hash or query_hash value in a DMV?
