    Cisco SF-300 Backup Problem- Did not receive command prompt after connecting via SSH

    amin.bahari

      Hello,

      I am pretty new in Kiwi CatTools so don't expect much.

      The switch i wanted to back-up is the Cisco.SmallBusiness SF-300-24PP.

      I keep getting this error;

      '' Did not receive command prompt after connecting via SSH ''

          It looks like the username prompt includes additional information.

            If you log in with putty, what prompts do you see?

              Some of the SF and SG cisco switches need to have SSH enabled from the GUI before you perform these steps or in the case of my SF300 you have to generate the RSA certificate.   if this has been done, then as stated above attach with Putty and see what you get.

                But now i get a other error code: Now i got a error: Did not Receive expected username prompt when entering enable mode

                Here are some screen shots of my prompts.

                And this is the debug file.

                  I am having a similar problem with a Cisco Small Business SG300 switch.  I"m only about a couple days into an eval so don't know anything about CatTools, but it looks to me like my problem (and perhaps this problem) is being caused by the CatTools script adding a letter K to the beginning of the device name in its stored parameter, so it is looking for a prompt that it never gets...

                  Here is the text from my debug:
