Hi guys, we originally built PM PAS on a Windows 20028 R2 server and patched it up to latest version 2.1.5. Our WSUS team then went and upgraded the WSUS Server to Windows 2012 R2 thus breaking PM inventory etc. SO, we built a PM 2.1.5 Windows 2012 R2 Automation server to route the API requests. All good so far. We would like to get rid of the 2008 R2 PM server and us a Windows 2012 R2 one. We have lots of custom tasks/groups built into PM and lots of reports. Is it possible to build a new PM PAS 2012 R2 server and re-use the existing DB?

Unfortunately for your scenario, the Patch Manager database is married to an installation of Patch Manager. Migrating the database from one install to another is not currently supported, so you cannot… -
