filter severity on active alert frame

Hello,

I know that if you go to the alerts tab you can filter out what type of alerts you want to see. However, I don't see the ability to filter on the all active alerts frame on the summary page. How can I go about making a frame to show only critical, serious and warning alerts on the main page? I'm trying to build out a NOC view and this is one of the things I want on there.
