From the 1000 Nodes, how many elements are you polling?

When you says elements, this is the nodes that are being monitored correct? If so i have a little over 700.

No, elements are "interfaces / disks / ..." you can see the count in "settings" "all settings" "polling engines"

Then this looks good. There must be something else that causes the freeze. It does not seem to be the weight on the polling engine.

do you have a lot of alerts configured (above 300) that are evalu each minute? This can cause load on the core Server.

I apologize for the delay, I have 147 alerts and only 49 are active.

The delay could be coming from the Database what is the SQL server like?
