Details about Dynamic IP Address (DHCP or BOOTP)

I am not seeing details in the Admin guide with details about the Dynamic IP Address (DHCP or BOOTP) setting in node properties.

How often does Orion check to update the IP address? Also, if the node stops responding to pings, will Orion check then as well?
