Solarwinds MIB

Hello:

How can i get the solarwinds MIB in MIB format is that makes sense . I had gotten the MIBs but in the format MIB.cfg but the programmer is request for the MIBs in mib format? Does anyone know how I can get it in that format?

If you are sending SNMP traps from Orion, then the relevant MIB is SolarWinds-Traps.mib, which you can find in C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Common\ or wherever Orion is installed.

What are you trying to do? MIBs.cfg is a database format compiled from hundreds (maybe thousands by this point) of other vendors' MIBs.

Hi tdanner:
I believe you are the one that help me on my last request. Am working in sending solarwinds notifications to another system but the programmer wanted to see the MIBs of solarwinds so they can see what information will be needed.
That was the information I got.

Module SOLARWINDS-PRODUCTS is in SolarWinds-Products.mib in the same directory.

Aside: if you have the Engineers toolkit then you can (could) change the format of the traps being sent.

How big should this file be. the one that I have says 2KB and when I sent to file to the team they said it was incomplete.

Well they are saying that they are not seeing all the mibs in the file.
