QuickPoll connection reset killing one database monitor

I recently upgraded from DPA 10.2 to 11.0. Since then, I have been having difficulty with the monitor for our primary production database; it frequently stops monitoring, giving the message: "Monitor for database [NAME] failed in job [QuickPollJob] due to error [IO Error: Connection reset]". This never happened to us with the previous version of DPA. Monitors for other databases continue to work.

I have been working with SolarWinds technical support for almost a month, but am getting nowhere.

Two questions:

1. Has anyone else seen this kind of behavior? Can you help me to fix it?

2. Can I simply bring up the previous version of DPA? Or is the monitor database now incompatible since the upgrade?
