Just sharing, beware:
Ran into a problem today importing 9 alerts from one NPM 12 instance to another.
Instance A has very minimal alerts configured. Instance B has hundreds.
We were importing from A to B
Instance A alerts only have a single Trigger and Reset email action configured
When we imported into B, some trigger and reset email actions from A were imported into OTHER alerts on instance B.
You an imagine the confusion when those alerts fired and teams were receiving emails for servers they don't manage - not good.
It appears when you have a well established solarwinds instance with many alerts configured with trigger/reset actions solarwinds is somewhat careless with the IDs when importing into the DB. My guess is the alerts that got the wrong actions shared the same ID from instance A.
