Issue using WPM

Have you tried using "X Y Mode" to record a click event somewhere outside the login box and then the click on the Log In button?

You might be seeing an issue where the login box has a validation script that only triggers when the focus leaves the second text box.

You could also record hitting the Tab key after you type the password as a potential alternative.

So real quick, I was able to record it and i can even play it back from the WPM Recorder; however, when I Set up a Transaction monitor it doesn't get passed the first step...

Does it fail and show as down (red)? Or does it just never play at all (grey)?

If the latter check and make sure that the SEUM accounts on the Orion box (or wherever playback is running from) are set as local admin.

It fails as red. I have attempted using teh method above and its reporting an 88% average of availability. Its almost like every 4 runs the script fails. is that common when using the X,Y mode?

I don't know of a reason why X Y mode would fail on a regular basis like that. At least not by design.

If it seems like that is what you are seeing I would open a ticket with support so they can debug a little deeper.
